Mik Cieslak

Mik Cieslak is a Senior Research Associate in the Biological Modelling and Visualization Laboratory in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Calgary. Mik is an expert in computational plant modelling and works on the mechanistic modelling of plant development in the scope of the Plant Phenotyping and Imaging Research Centre. He received a master's degree in computer science from the University of Calgary in 2006 and a PhD degree in mathematics from the University of Queensland in 2010. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship with the Institut National de Recherche en Informatique et en Automatique and the Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique in France in 2012.
