Molayo Owoeye

Owoeye Molayo is the Head, Capacity Development Office of the IITA Youth Agripreneur (IYA) where she focuses on initiating, designing, and implementing project activities geared towards attracting, sustaining, and retaining youth in Agriculture. The vision of the youth program is to reduce the rate of unemployment amongst youth in Africa by positively engaging the youth with business skills required in Agriculture for income generation, decent job employment and improved livelihood

Molayo earned her MBA-Agribusiness certificate in 2018, from the Federal University of Technology, Abeokuta, Ogun State and her first degree in Bachelor of Agriculture in University of Ilorin, Kwara State. She is a certified UNIDO Hp Life trainer Molayo is driven by her commitment to further youth engagement in Agriculture and support in putting the right enabling environments in place.

She is a good team player, strategic thinker, and possess good leadership skills. She has co-authored in the development of various training manuals which are presently used in the ENABLE program approved by the African Development Bank (AfDB).
